Trip to RWA, Bristol

On Tuesday 17 November a joint party from Tetbury Art Society and Box Art Group travelled by coach to the Royal West of England Academy at Bristol.

The occasion was a visit to the RWA Annual Autumn Exhibition. This is a juried open exhibition which showcases the "best" of contemporary art in this area.

There was a wide variety of styles represented and an equally wide variety of views on these styles!

As an aid to thought and discussion members were asked to write down what they thought were the "best" and "worst" of what they saw.

It was interesting to see that at least one piece of work featured as both best and worst on different peoples choices. That's art! ! !
